Many files on this site are presented as PDF files.

To read these, you will require Adobe Reader.  This software is available free of charge from www.adobe.com

Why use PDF? Simply because this format is readable by anyone, regardless of your chosen software platform.  The files are also usually smaller than other formats and so download times are faster.

Some files are presented in a choice of formats, to give you the opportunity to edit them for your own use.
