… and finally. Can you help?

At the moment I’m struggling with a suitable format for sharing these newsletters. They are double page spreads with reasonably complex layouts, so I’ve created them using Microsoft Publisher, because that’s the most suitable tool that I have available. Of course that leaves me with a problem: I want to be able to share these files, but MS Publisher isn’t a very open format (to put it mildly). I’ve solved that by converting the files to PDF – nice and open as far as reading them is concerned, but not very editable.

If anyone has any suggestions for either

  • a desktop publisher (that runs on MS Windows) which I can use to create double page spreads, that I can save into a format which is easy to share     or
  • a way of sharing MS Publisher files

then I’d be very happy to hear from you!
