How to Play Othello (Reversi)

A game that is really easy to learn, but not very easy to win!  To play, you place counters on a grid to capture your opponents counters.  This game will show you what moves you can make, so it's ideal for beginners.

How to play: Othello (also known as Reversi) is a two-player game. One player has black counters, the other has white ones. The players take turns to put counters on the board. You capture your opponents pieces by placing a counter on the board so that at least one of your opponents counters is trapped between two of yours:

If you can't do this you have to pass, and it's your opponent's turn. The game ends when either the board is full, or neither player can make a move. The player who has the most pieces of their colour has won. Draws are possible.
