Class Blogs
The class blogs are
an exciting new project.
Most of Ms Lindemann's maths and ICT classes now have their own blog or web page.
Where do I find
them?

What is a blog?
A blog (or Weblog) is a site that allows students to interact with the
read/write Web, so that instead of just using this site, they can publish their
own ideas, questions, links and so on. Blogs look different to 'normal'
Web pages, they look more like journal entries with short pieces of text, often
including images or links, and always with the opportunity to comment.
Why are we using
them?
Because they are a very powerful learning tool! Students can discuss their
work, swap ideas, get help and most importantly share that process and the
associated learning with each other.
Important information about the course will also be published on the blog, I
hope that both students and parents will find this useful.
Is it safe?
All of the class blogs are moderated, so no comments by students will be published
that unless they have been checked by me. Students will never
be allowed to publish any personally identifiable information that could place
them at risk, such as their full names or their email addresses.
